ALS from Heaney to Pearson from Salinas dated 25 July 1995 telling of Heaney's stay in Spain and summer presentations, including the 25th anniversary of the Gallery Press. He thanks Pearson for news of the Chapel Hill exhibition and tells him in confidence that he will receive an honorary degree at UNC-Ch May 12. 3 page letter (2 rectos and one verso) and hand-addressed envelope.
